Floating Boots Trainer is an innovative slipper-hoof boot developed by equestrians of endurance. It was made to protect horse’s feet which are not shooed. It can also be used as a substitute after the loss of a shoe

The special feature of the Floating Boots Trainer is its capacity to adjust perfectly to the natural movement of the horse's foot. This characteristic ensures maximal comfort for the horse, allowing it to move with ease and without constraint throughout the day.

For daily activities or endurance competitions, this hoof boot maintains the horse’s foot in optimum conditions, thus favoring its performance and well-being. This adaptability to movement is essential to avoid injuries and ensure a natural walk for the horse.

Finally, the durability and polyvalence of the Floating Boot Trainer make it the equipment of choice for endurance riders.

Made from flexible but very strong materials, this hoof boot can be used on various terrains.

Its ability to adhere to every surface, even the sleekest ones, considerably reduces the risks of sliding, thus ensuring heightened security for horses and riders.

This exceptional grip, combined with the protection and comfort the Floating Boot offers, makes it a must-have accessory for any unshod horse evolving in various environments.

ADVANTAGES

1 – Ease of use: it is extremely easy to place and remove.

2 – Perfect fit: it is available in anterior and posterior form. Its material is thermoformable: by heating it, you can shape it to the shape of the hoof.

3 – Respect for the biomechanics and physiology of the foot: the low thickness of the shell (3 mm) and the sole (13 mm) reduce the lever arms. The front of the hoof boot is beveled to promote rolling. A gusset under the frog promotes transverse elasticity. The hoof boot is flexible to adapt to the movements of the foot but also to different terrains. The fastening straps fit perfectly to the shape of the bulbs. Finally, its weight is light (350 gr in size 0).

4 – Resistance to any test: First designed for endurance, the hoof boot has been tested in extreme conditions. In its glue-on version Floating Boots Competition (shell identical to the Trainer model), it is regularly used and resists wear and tear during endurance races of 160 km on abrasive surfaces. For hiking or hobby use, its longevity is excellent.

5 – Grip: The liner does not slip on asphalt, concrete, cobblestones, and more generally on all hard and smooth surfaces. To improve grip on grass and ice, you can add small headless studs with MXNS1 tungsten.

GOOD TO KNOW

The Floating Boot is thermoformable by your blacksmith. So, if the hoof boot you chose does not correspond perfectly to your horse’s foot (and that it is not a problem of size but rather of morphology), NO WORRIES!

Call your blacksmith and explain the situation, they will be able to thermoform your hoof boot so that it perfectly fits the hoof.

If you want to increase the hoof boots’ adhesion, you can! You can buy studs to add to your hoof boot.

Pour choisir la taille :

1- On a trim hoof, measure the width from the largest part of the foot and the length from the toe to the heel. (see picture)

2- Next, choose your size by picking the nearest one from your measurements (Due to its thermoformability and the presence of a gusset, you can easily change the width of the hoof boot)

3- If no size corresponds perfectly to your measurements, you must prioritize the width. A length too important can be easily reduced by cutting the back of the hoof boot without degrading its solidity
